Port-of-Spain, Tobago, January 20, 2016: Republic Bank’s Tobago Corporate Customers were treated to a cocktail appreciation reception, as they witnessed the introduction of the new Area Manager, Republic Bank, at a ceremony hosted at the Magdalena Grand Beach and Golf Resort, Lowland, Tobago, over the weekend.
The event, which was two-fold, was aimed at announcing the retirement of Allison Cooper, Area Manager and the introducing Mr. Shedley Branche, former Marketing Manager, Product Management, Credit, Group Marketing and Communications Department. Mr. Branche is expected to assume the position of Area Manager, Tobago, effective January 29, 2016.
The function was also attended by Republic Bank’s Executive Team, the Hon. Orville London, Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly and Dr. Denise Tsoiafatt-Angus, Secretary, Community Development and Culture.
In her outgoing speech, Mrs. Allison Cooper, whose career spans more than four decades, thanked the management and staff for their support during her years of service.
“I wish to acknowledge the many mentors, colleagues and team members, for their admonitions and guidance, their willingness to share their wisdom and experiences, all with the view to best ensuring my success,” Cooper said. Cooper, was attached to branches such as; High Street, Point Fortin, Head Office and Siparia, before assuming the role of Area Manager, Tobago in 2009.
Mr. Branche, who acted in the position of Area Credit Manager, Republic Bank, Tobago in 2012, is the holder of a Masters of Business Administration from Morgan State University and a Bachelor of Science- Management from the same University.
Saxaphonist Francis Prime and Signal Hill Alumi Choir provided entertainment at the event.
