You’re the Man: Republic Bank’s Executive Director, Derwin Howell, smiles as Trinidadian-born trumpeter Etienne Charles, fully endorses the Bank’s sponsorship for his recently concluded, San Jose Suite concert. The concert was held at the Queen’s Hall on Sunday November 20. Republic Bank, co-sponsors of the event, supported Charles’ series of roving concerts which took place at The St. Dominic’s Children’s Home in Belmont, St. Mary’s Children’s Home, Tacarigua and The Princess Elizabeth Home for Special Children in Woodbook, where Charles and his band took the children down a musical journey. The concerts’ aim was to give voice to the stories of the world’s indigenous people.
