Port-of-Spain,  Trinidad; April 22, 2013: Revitalization  of the Grenadian economy and the identification of large scale, sustainable,  revenue generating projects would be the primary focus of a one-day Business Summit  in Grand Anse on Tuesday 23rd April. Spear-headed by Republic Bank Limited, the Summit will bring together in  one place, 25 of the most powerful and respected business leaders in the  Caribbean, along with representatives of various international development  agencies and senior government officials in Grenada. Chairman of Republic Bank Limited,  Ronald Harford, who is leading the delegation, describes the one day summit as  a, "regional think tank" that will discuss and agree on key action items in  which the private sector can engage, in order to turn the Grenadian economy  around. The Summit is being held at the  Spice Island Beach Resort in Grand Anse, Grenada.
      
Themed,  "Fast Forward Together, Reigniting  Growth", the Summit is aimed at stimulating private sector activity, so as  to re-position Grenada on a positive growth trajectory, and will focus  specifically on the key drivers of the island's future private sector led  growth, including tourism, leisure, marine, agriculture, health and medical  services.
      
Prime  Minister of Grenada, The Honourable Dr. Keith Mitchell, made the announcement  of Republic Bank's involvement in co-ordinating the Summit, while delivering  the country's 2013 budget presentation to Parliament last Monday, and will  officially open the proceedings tomorrow.
      
Executive Director of the Arthur  Lok Jack Graduate School of Business, Professor Miguel Carillo, will facilitate  discussions at the Summit.
